PEACE MAKER KUROGANE - I originally thought it was a light and humourous version of the ShinsenGumi but it so ISN'T! Well.. It is still extremely funny (remembers the pig, Saizou and the poetry episode) but I think this anime actually has captured the reality of the Shinsengumi lifestyle without taking anything away from it because it's an anime.
Saya (the little girl who can't speak) is a geisha (Prostitute) in training because her parents were killed in the war/battle earlier. She and Tetsunosuke have such an innocent friendship, I don't think either of them are aware of Saya's future.. When she grows up she's going to have to be a geisha unless someone with money gets her out... unfortunately Tetsu isn't rich. *huggles Saya* She's so innocent/timid/shy and she's mute too! Sadly that was probably the future for alot of childern (especially girls)who lost their parents to war back then... and SanNan being in love with the Top Geisha and all.. Since I have the manga I already know the outcome of that and its... very sad *cries*
The Shinobi Ayu, As a spy/ninja she had to go undercover and the most recent episode (18) just made me want to cry. All the sufferings she must have gone through just to save her brother from having to face the dangers was just.. too horrible! The fact that after the enemy found out she was a spy and caught her... the anime doesn't show you what they did makes it even more horrible because the last words the guy says is, "Do what you guys want with her... though after you're done, make sure to get rid of her completely" *cries* Ayu-nee was such a caring character, and she took care of her brother and Tetsu as if he was her own...
Anyhoo my point was Peace Maker Kurogane so far has my kudos for being the best anime right now, Humor, Drama, Romance, Samurai Spirit and Angst all mashed up together and turning out GOOD. Well.. it starts off very light but with each episode it gets darker and darker and the characters are all very 3-dimensional. And its its...very hard to describe in words ^^''
Anyhoo, I'll leave it there since I'm RPing right now. Happy Valentine's day minna-san!

It was so good too, everyone from school was in it, and there was this part where we all went grocery shopping and the candy aisle was supposedly haunted because no one goes there. SO, like in every dream, I stupidly walked there with Theresa and Lina. At first everything was normal, the candy boxes were just dusty (and there were lots of candy!) but then when I turned around there were ghosts etc and people shaped shadows walking around.. and surprisingly, I wasn't scared or freaked out like I normally am in dreams that contain the supernatural. Lina was scared though ^^ (Maybe this was a result from finishing the box of candies Pam gave me)
Another part of my dream was back in my old school, we were in the big yard and it was like a winter wonderland park thingy and we were all running and falling on the ice etc and then the bell rings and everyone lines up. And thennn.... something funny happens and I wake up just as we get in line with everyone else. I think Vanessa did something weird at this point.. and yah, I wake up like this: O.O''
A whole bunch of other little things happen too... I hope I get a continuation of this dream tonight. *sighs* For once since schol started I feel relaxed enough to not have nightmares based on school... the last dream I had was receiving a test with 17 outta 42.. the mark so CLEARLY defined o.O'' School is giving me WAY too much stress. I think I should try that aroma therapy thing ^.~

Anyhoo~ Happy that I got to watch almost 6 episodes of One Piece in a row! Nami is so cool! I thought she was pretty useless at first since she can't even fight and all that about treasures and money but whoa. That episode about her past made me CRY. *tears* It was so touching.. and the way all her money was stained with blood and she was just stabbing Arlong's tattoo on her arm.. *bursts out crying again*
Now I'm watching the fighting between Luffy's gang and the Mermen. I seriously had doubts about One Piece being any good since the drawings were one of the most awful ones I've seen but... The story is SO GOOD! And I think the drawings have grown on me... I MUST find the Manga!
